In today's lesson I focused more on creating a mock up for my CD cover, as I hadn't completely come up with an idea. The photos that we took whilst filming did not contain poses or shots that were similar to what I wanted so I used a picture of TLC instead. I firstly included the title of the album, using the same font from the advert mockup:
Then I wanted to try and add the group name (MTB) on the cover. I tried various ways, such as adding the letters at the front, in the middle of each girl, at the bottom etc but it did not look right. I then thought of placing it in front the girls and then using an eraser to make it seem like it is behind them:
When erasing, if it went too far, I used the paintbrush tool to fill it in:
Overall, this is what I managed to complete in terms of the mock up in lesson:
Towards the end of the lesson, I started to try and create and organize the fonts and designs for my own album cover however this is how far I got:
