Filming Calender

During lesson, me and Sharay created a filming schedule to plan when we were going to be filming over the next two weeks and what we were going to sleep.

Call Sheets

Studio Booking

We decided to book the studio for tomorrow so that we could get some of Ariana Grande and Lil Kim's scenes done. We booked it for two hours to allow us a lot of time to get these shots done

Today's Lesson

In today's lesson I created, and finalised a simple shooting schedule with Sharay. As our actors were not all available at the same time for two weeks, we decided to split up the filming of the scenes and film the individual scenes first so that after half term we can film the group ones.

I also started to create call sheets for all of our locations, as we had definite filming dates:

Team Meeting

As I decided to make a shooting schedule to organize our filming days, I sent a message into our team group chat to organize the dates where everyone is free:

Pre-Production: Copyright Permission

As our track is a mashup of two songs we did not know if we should email the record company of both artistes or email the DJ and the producer that did the mashup. We finally came up with the conclusion of asking the DJ for permission as he would have had to ask to ask the artistes for permission as he profits off of his mashup tracks and we are more likely to receive a response from him.

Below is a copy of the email and direct message on instagram that Sharay sent to Raheem Davis asking for Copyright permission.

Today's Lesson

In today's lesson, I started to create a PowToon for the Recces. As I haven't been to most of the locations yet, I just created the outline of the powtoon to make sure I can easily add the information when i'm done. For the locations I have been to, however, I started to add information to them.

Pre-Production: Costume, Props and Makeup Planning

As I have taken on the role of the stylist for the video, I have started to create an emaze outlining the costumes, props and make-up that the actors will have. As I am a creative person, and I like to visual outfit ideas, I started creating outfits with pictures of clothing from the internet (that I already have bought) instead of writing it out first:

From this, I started to place the images I had collected together, and then created outfits for each actor:

On the side, I created a slide for each location, with the slides in white portraying the visual outfits, props(relating to the outfit) and make-up and the slides in pink portraying the writing, and explanation about the outfits and why they were chosen:

Pre-Production: Roles

Created by Keisha:

ROLES by Keisha

Today's Lesson

In today's lesson, we were told what we had to do for pre-production. The list consisted of:
- Roles
- Storyboard
- Recces
- Costumes,Props and Make Up
- Risk Assessment
- Release Forms (Location and Song)
- Call Sheets

To make it easier, me and Sharay decided to split up the roles between us, taking 3 items from the list each:

We also created a Whatsapp group chat where we would hold our team meetings:
