In today's lesson I worked a bit more on my advert and then went on to working on the back cover of the album. I added social media links to the bottom of the advert with the names of each social media account by the side:
I then moved onto the back cover. I started off by writing the names of the different song titles on Illustrator. At first I used the Halton font that I used for the Side2Side on the top right corner, but then I decided to continue on with the Clueless theme and use the Franklin font with the mixed upper and lowercase styling. i used the Halton for the timings however. I kept in with the colour scheme by choosing pink and burgundy:
I liked the way this was made however I wanted to try and experiment, and use the style that was used on the back of the Brownstone cover that I analysed for my case studies. Therefore, I decided to split up the songs and put on in the 'Pop' section and one in the 'R&B' section. I used the Clueless oval, and experimented with different colouring:
I ended up using the Burgundy and white oval, and then added it to the back cover:
Currently, I am not sure if I like the look or not. I think it may look weird or too much when the background photo is added, and I am not sure whether this looks professional or not. From this, I have decided this will not be the definite look I go for on the back cover, but I may keep it for now.
